For 70 years, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hancock County have offered young people a safe, fun place to develop skills, self-confidence and other qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. We can ensure that this will continue for future generations by planning today.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Hancock County does not share its donor list, including email addresses, with other organizations or individuals, with the exception of annual report listings by giving category. However, we respectfully acknowledge the wishes of some donors to be listed anonymously. We welcome unrestricted gifts, but also respect the wishes of some donors to restrict gifts to support specific program areas or events.

Volunteer We strongly believe in the valuable role that volunteers play in transforming the lives of our members. As little as one hour per week is all it takes to have a positive impact on a child’s life. Volunteers can get involved through event committees as well as day-to-day programs. BGCHC offers volunteer opportunities for adults to work directly with youth as mentors and tutors in education, technology, the arts and athletics, and by providing career guidance and college preparation support. We also welcome corporations seeking one day, project-based volunteer opportunities. BGCHC is very serious about our responsibility for the youth in our care. We are proud of our excellent reputation as a safe haven for youth, a reputation that has been earned through more than 70 years of effective service to hundreds of thousands of children and their families in the Greenfield area. BGCHC has been a national leader in adopting significant and proactive child protection guidelines and processes. Therefore, all volunteers must undergo a thorough screening process that includes:
